Tehran short filmfest to launch later

The 2021 edition of the Tehran International short Film Festival in Iran has been postponed to January 20.

The 37th edition of the event will launch in two physical and virtual formats and will go on until January 25, 2021, screening short films in national and international sections.

The winners of various sections will be announced on January 26, 2021.

Organized by Iranian Youth Cinema Society (IYCS), the festival is held to provide an opportunity for young filmmakers to exchange their experiences.

The organizers plan to promote the festival and introduce its activities to the world through increased interactions with foreign short film markets and filmmakers.

TISFF is held annually in Iranian capital city of Tehran with National and International Competitions sections.
